This was one of the first items that I made when I started my plant-based journey. I ‘m not going to lie, I had to discover my own way of making these…let’s say…not “taste challenged” lol. The pancake mix itself was not a success in my opinion, so I added my own “flare.” I’m happy to share with you my way and I hope you find the pancakes just as delicious as I do!
Vegan Pancakes

Equipment
- Griddle or Non-stick pan
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Birchbenders vegan protein pancake mix
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 Walnuts or any nut of your choice
- 1 Fruit of choice i.e. blueberries or raisins
- 1 Cinnamon
- 1 Pure maple syrup
- Oil olive
Instructions
- Mix your pancake mix, water, fruit, nuts , cinnamon together
- Cook on a non-stick griddle or pan for 1-2 minutes on each side
- Top with your favorite maple syrup
Notes
Simply using oil in a regular pan will not cut it. Trust me, I tried it twice in two different pans. Don't do it unless you want to waste your food.
